Harvey Glen decided he wanted to write these guides to share with others what he has been lucky enough to learn in his 14 years as a Cameraman/ DOP.

‘I hope this helps bridge the gap between education and becoming a professional Cameraman’

“To me, being a cinematographer is much more than just a job, it is a true expression of my craft.I like to use a combination of technical and creative skills to help express the director’s vision and tell a story.” | Harvey Glen

At the age of seventeen Harvey began his career at Rapture TV, a division of United News and Media in Norwich, England. Harvey had the fantastic opportunity to learn and perfect the craft he soon realized he loved when taking on a full time position as a Studio Camera Operator.

I have been working as a freelance Cameraman for the past year. I know lots of Sound Recordists and Production, but very few Cameraman. These guides are like being in direct contact with a very experienced DOP. They offer countless Tips that I would have never of thought of. Already, I have noticed an improvement in my Camera work and way I approach the industry change for the better and I am only half way through... The Lighting tips has proved fantastic and I am no longer intimidated by lighting. I sincerely recommend the Ultimate Pack better than any other Camera books I have read!
